Asexuality is the most ignorant Word Ever!
Hello Everyone. It has come to my attention that some people in this oversexualized, morally-depraved world are beginning to write articles and use words such as "asexual and eunuch" which the LGBTQ world is now trying to use for their own hidden agenda, in order to redefine a person who lives a chaste and celibate life to mean that single people who want to live a chaste and celibate life without pre-marital sex, whether young or old, female or male, rich or poor, are somehow asexual people and should become involved in the LGBTQ community. This is the most ludicrous idea that I have ever heard, so don't pay any attention to them. Don't let these organizations try to define your sexuality, or for that matter, your determination to live a single life of chastity before marriage which has been taught and endorsed by Jesus, by the Holy Bible, by the Commandments of God and by the Holy Catholic Church throughout the ages.
According to the dictionary definition of asexual, it is defined as a person that has a lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity. And the dictionary definition of eunuch is someone who has been castrated, neither female nor male sexual orientation or someone who abstains from marriage. Even if the definition comes from the dictionary, society is again trying to turn singles on the side of being sexualized, gay, homosexual, lesbian or asexual just because they do not want to engage in pre-marital sex before marriage. Catholic singles and many Christian singles choose to live a wonderful and meaningful single life vocation as a child of God, a disciple of Jesus Christ and as a son and daughter of the Blessed Mother and they choose to wait until marriage before becoming sexually active.
This oversexed society and the LGBTQ community are trying to convince singles that somehow the single communities of the world are gay, homosexual, lesbian or asexual if they choose to follow and live a holy and chaste life, without any sexual activity, if they choose to wait until their marriage before they become sexually active. How stupid is that? There is nothing wrong with Catholic or Christian, morally-developed people who prefer not to show or live their life in a sexualized manner. First of all, there is nothing wrong with living a life of chastity and celibacy while people are still single before marriage, even if that is for the short-term or for a lifetime. Marriage is a blessed union between a man and a woman but marriage is not for everyone. There are more divorces nowadays for one reason or another--whatever the circumstances. According to our Catholic faith, single Catholics should live their lives in a chaste manner while they are still single, whether that may mean for a short-time or long-term because that is exactly what Jesus taught during His life and that the single people should live a life dedicated to God.
The problem with this term "asexual and eunuch" is that many Catholic priests and religious sisters indeed lived chaste and celibate lives during the time they were single, as many I'm sure can attest to. So, just because priests and sisters/nuns live a vow of chastity and celibacy, does that now mean, according to the LGBTQ definition, that these same priests and sisters/nuns are asexual and should become actively involved in the LGBTQ community? No way! Then, not only that but the Blessed Mother, during the time she was single and even after her marriage with St. Joseph, they never had a sexual relationship. The Blessed Mother has always been a virgin, before, during and after her marriage to St. Joseph. Our Blessed Mother was never sexually active during Her life.
So, according to these morally-depraved people, I would dare say that they would probably say that since Our Blessed Mother, Jesus and St. Joseph were never sexually active that they are somehow asexual human beings. Is that what these overly-sexually, morally-depraved people would now say about three of the most wonderful, holiest, honored people in the world? These same people would also probably declare that there was something somehow amiss and abnormal about the marriage between the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph since it did not involve a sexually-active relationship, and somehow in keeping with the LGBTQ community. How stupid is that? Even if two people, during their dating and engagement duration, decided that they wanted to live a chaste/celibate life, it is entirely within the teachings of Jesus Christ, within the teachings of the Catholic Church and within the precepts of the Holy Bible to do so! So, even though the over-sexualized, amoral bullies are trying to push chaste and celibate singles into a corner so that these same chaste singles can somehow feel ashamed of their Catholic/Christian belief in the validity of chastity/celibacy during singlehood, don't let them change your life and don't let them try to redefine your wonderful, moral belief in Jesus Christ, in the Blessed Mother, in the Catholic faith, in the Catholic Church, in the Commandments of God, and in living a life of chastity before marriage.
Just because single people choose not to engage in sexual activity, doesn't mean that they are gay, homosexual, lesbian, or anything abnormal for that matter. Even if a single person decided that they wanted to remain single for the rest of their life, that doesn't define them as gay, homosexual, lesbian or anything else for that matter. Since when does society or, for that fact the LGBTQ community, have the right to define how a person should live their life just because they don't want to live a sexualized life? Single Catholics/Christians, can live a chaste life all they want! In fact, I am endorsing a chaste life for all single Catholics/Christians and there's nothing wrong with that. I will continue to endorse chastity before marriage for single Catholics/Christians forever!
In fact, the majority of single Catholics have chosen chastity and celibacy for their lives during the entire duration of their singlehood. Isn't that great! The words of Jesus Christ, in reference to the necessity of being chaste before marriage, continue to be heard by many single Catholics and Protestant Christians now and have been heard throughout the ages! In case some people may have any disagreements to what I'm saying, I would like to give you a few quotes from the Bible:
I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things
of the Lord, how to please the Lord... And the unmarried or betrothed woman is
anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit.
1 Corinthians 7:32-35
"You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a
great price, so you must honor God with your body."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality,
impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.”
Colossians 3:5
"Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolators nor adulterers
nor sodomites nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers
nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
That is what some of you used to be; but now you have had yourselves
washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the Name of the
Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
So, the next time you see an article or hear from some LGBTQ community member that just because you choose not to engage in sexual activity before marriage, that you are somehow asexual and should be involved in the LGBTQ community, my advice to single Catholics is to just laugh and say "Sorry, that may define you, but I am a child of God, a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, a member of the Holy Catholic Church and my Catholic faith, the Commandments of God and the teachings of the Catholic Church and the teachings of Jesus Christ defines my life!
