Faith Without Works Is Dead
Faith is something that every person has because without faith, it would be impossible to live. For example, if people did not have faith that they would wake up each morning, or did not have faith that the sky would be blue (instead of red), then it would be impossible to look forward to the day. Jesus said that even if you have the smallest amount of faith, that would be enough to sustain you throughout your life. Why do so many people lack faith in God Who made the heavens and the earth and all that is in it? Perhaps because they doubt that God, in all of His magnificence, has the Supreme power and capability to take charge of life and the earth, even when people are at their weakest point. Sure, at times, the earth may go through trials, tribulations and even punishments but Our Heavenly Father is still in charge of everything. With plenty of prayer and good works (dedicated toward Our Heavenly Father, toward Our Lord Jesus and even toward Our Blessed Mother) that goes a long way toward helping to sustain the world even in its darkest times.
As Jesus said, "Faith without works is dead". What does that really mean some may ask? It means that people can have all the faith in God and in Jesus, but if they do not do something tangible with their faith, then faith itself may not be enough. So, how can we do something tangible with our faith? People can live their faith without necessarily talking about it. For example, living your faith may mean doing something for Jesus, for Our Almighty Father and for Our Blessed Mother by helping to feed the hungry, giving money to the homeless, praying the Rosary everyday for peace and joy in the world, giving money to your local Catholic Church, giving money to some Catholic charity, praying for peace and happiness in your particular city/state and for the world, etc. dedicated to Our Almighty Father, Our Lord Jesus and for Our Blessed Mother, not for what you can get out of it. If you need help with finances, with your business, with your job, with your family, with your home, then ask Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus and Our Blessed Mother for help and protection. Believe it or not, They will listen to your prayers and petitions. Be sure to be persistent with your prayers and petitions so that They know that you really need help and Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus and Our Blessed Mother will help you, your business, your family and your home. Even though Our Almighty Father and Our Lord Jesus knows what you need before you ask, it is still important to make your requests known to Them. Believe it or not, it also takes a lot of faith to believe that your prayers will be answered. Without faith in God, in Our Lord Jesus and in Our Blessed Mother, we would only be relying on what we and others are capable of doing in this life. Therefore, our belief and faith must be in Our Heavenly Father, in Our Lord Jesus, in Our Blessed Mother, in the saints, in St. Michael, in the heavenly angels. It is also very important that people do not continue to offend Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus, and Our Blessed Mother in anyway, shape or form because that will only reap disaster not only for people but also for the world and Our Blessed Mother has explained this in all of Her past apparitions. Keep your lives on the straight and narrow path that leads to God at all times.
It is important to start the day right by making sure that you say your morning and evening prayers every day ("and if you have time, say more prayers" and you can recite the Holy Rosary), as Our Blessed Mother suggested to the two children, Maximin Giraud and Mélanie Calvatin, who Our Blessed Mother appeared to in La Salette, France in 1851. These prayers will help sustain you, your family and the world throughout the day and for the months ahead. It is vital that every person, especially Catholics, train and teach their children, nieces/nephews and family members to say their daily prayers. Without prayers, thanksgiving to God, to Our Lord Jesus, and without the Masses from the thousands of Catholic Churches throughout the world, life would probably cease to exist, since Jesus is the Head of the Catholic Church and Jesus is the Son of God. It is Our Blessed Mother Who is the Mediatrix who prays for us daily and without Her prayers, Our Lord would probably not be so forgiving of the world and of people.
After we and our families have said morning and evening prayers, trying to live our lives by obeying the 10 commandments of God, keeping your minds, bodies and spirits pure, holy and innocent, attending the Catholic Mass (or viewing it if we cannot attend), going to confession if we have sinned and following the teachings of the holy Catholic Church, we must then have the faith that our prayers will be answered by God, by Our Lord Jesus, by Our Blessed Mother, by St. Michael and the saints in heaven and that Our Heavenly Father and Jesus will take care of us. Jesus reminded people, "Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they? (Matthew 6:26). "If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will He not much more provide for you? O you of little faith. So do not worry and say, "What are we to eat?' or "What are we to drink?' or 'What are we to wear?' All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself..."(Matthew 6:30-34).
Some people say, "Well, God and Jesus are forgiving so therefore I can do anything I want to do and I will still go to heaven." That is the wrong attitude to take. Even though Jesus is kind, loving, merciful and forgiving, there comes a point where You will be judged for your actions and sins and you will pay the consequences, either here on earth or after you are judged at the time of your death. It is important that each person stays close to Our Heavenly Father, to Our Lord Jesus and to Our Blessed Mother at all times and never drifts toward sin or toward evil. "Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, steadfast in faith, knowing that your fellow believers throughout the world undergo the same sufferings. The God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory through Christ Jesus will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you after you have suffered a little. To Him be dominion forever. Amen." (1 Peter 5:8-11) Evil has been around since the beginning of time. During the French Revolution, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, told St. Catherine Laboure that during that time "the times are evil" and that people had to reform their lives, repent, wear the Miraculous Medal of Our Lady. If people sin, they need to ask Our Heavenly Father and Our Lord Jesus to forgive them and they need to repent of their sins and turn their lives toward Jesus. Don't take life or Jesus for granted because as Jesus said, "Without Me, you can do nothing".
Therefore, faith can only go so far. It is important that your faith, in Our Heavenly Father, in Our Lord Jesus and in Our Blessed Mother, should be backed up with action, not only with words. As the saying goes, "Preach the Gospel at all times, and if necessary, use words". It is difficult at times to be nice to people, especially if they get on your nerves but it takes prayer, faith and trust in the Heavenly Father, in the Lord Jesus, in Our Blessed Mother, in St. Michael and in the saints and angels in heaven in order to overcome obstacles in life. With Our Heavenly Father, we should say, "God's Will be done today". In the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we should always say, "Jesus, I trust You" and with Our Blessed Mother, we should tell her, "Blessed Mother, I have confidence and trust You." Also, ask Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus, Our Blessed Mother and St. Michael to protect and guard you and your family always and every day from evil every morning and evening.
Throughout the centuries, people have been wondering when the end of the world will happen. The Bible says, "But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." "Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come." "So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come." (Matthew 24:36; 42; 44). We must therefore, carry on with our lives and always do our best to stay prepared, not only for our own death but also if the Lord Jesus should come down to earth to judge us. Be careful and don't listen to televangelists who try to make people believe their version of the "end of the world scenarios" because they may be wrong. It is better to listen to and follow what Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus said in the Bible, to Our Blessed Mother (follow what She has stated at her apparition sites), the 10 commandments and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
