We All Have A Heavenly Grandmother Who Can Intercede For Us

We Are All Given a Savior Who Wants Us All To Go To Heaven |
How many of you still have living grandmothers? Many single Catholics still have their grandmothers but for some of us, our grandmothers passed away many years ago. Also, there are many people who never got to meet their grandmothers or some grandmothers may live too far away. This can be very sad! Luckily, for us Catholics, we have a heavenly grandmother that will pray for us on our behalf for whatever we ask or need. There is a program on EWTN called Super Saints and they had a program on St. Anne who is Our Blessed Mother's mother. The TV program talked about how St. Anne has helped many people by interceding for them to Our Blessed Mother and to our Lord Jesus. Many times, if our prayers are not answered, many people have received help from St. Anne with their petitions. After all, who can refuse the prayer requests from your mother or grandmother? Our Blessed Mother hears her mother's intercessory prayers and Jesus hears his grandmother's requests which they both cannot refuse. There are times when saying Novenas to various saints can be necessary especially for very serious problems or concerns. Many people have received help from St. Anne when they have said a 9-Day Novena to her. We have a Nine-Day Novena to St. Anne for your use so that you can pray and ask her to help you with any concerns or petitions you may have. In addition, there is a Shrine of St. Anne de Beaupre in Quebec, Canada which has been the site of many miracles especially those who have regained their eyesight, been able to walk after having paralysis, etc. When you go to their website, you can read all about the various healings and miracles that have happened while praying to St. Anne. Therefore, even though we may not have our earthly grandmothers with us anymore, we can be sure that we have a heavenly grandmother who will surely hear our prayers and will try to help us anyway she can. The Shrine's website also indicates that they have holy oil which has come from the relics of St. Anne. For more information go to the website for more details. Pray to St. Anne who is your heavenly grandmother every day and ask her to help you go through this earthly life and to help protect you from evil. Ask St. Anne to also ask Our Blessed Mother and Our Lord Jesus to help you by giving you many graces that are necessary to keep you holy and humble so that you will surely be rewarded with eternal life. May God bless you now and always and may St. Anne pray for us as we go through this earthly pilgrimage until we can meet her face to face in Heaven. |
At the close of this year, we should reflect and take an honest look at the condition of our souls. Jesus was born for us so that we will all go to Heaven. Are we really thinking about our souls? Many of us say "yes" but many still really do not take the condition of their souls very seriously. Some may say, "Well, I have plenty of time to change my life. I'm still young." Or, "I don't believe in the Catholic Church anymore because it is too strict for me. I want to be free to make my own choices." Let me ask you this question: "What are you going to do if you get into an automobile accident and you don't have time to go to confession and you die?" Any person is susceptible to death at any time. It's just a matter of time when we will be called by God from this earth. For some it could be sooner than others. Why do so many people take chances on losing their own souls for all eternity when it is so easy just to follow Christ and His Church. Of course, conversion does sometimes take time but we as single Catholics have to put our priorities in the right perspective. Having fun, having a good time, going to parties, and hanging out with friends should be considered a last priority in our lives. Single Catholics need to start putting Our Almighty Father, Jesus and Our Blessed Mother as the #1 priority in their lives. After all, if people are not used to praying, praising God and being in the company of God and Jesus in this life, then how do they expect to eventually be in the presence of our Almighty Father and Our Lord Jesus in the afterlife? Seriously! Many single people are living in a fantasy world when they think that they can do whatever they want (premarital sex, abortions, contraception, mortal sins, not going to Church and more) and then somehow miraculously when they die, they have the misperception that they will be immediately escorted to Heaven. Be real! That simply is just wishful thinking and not based on reality. Many singles can be misled by all of the media attention given to the lives of movie stars, rock and roll singers and other famous people but obviously anyone can see that many of these people do not follow Jesus, the teachings of His Church or Heaven. In fact, many of these people outwardly defy the teachings of Christ. Many secular single people outwardly are not chaste, do not go to Church, do not dress modestly, etc. These are the things that Jesus expects all singles to be: chaste, modest, a moral person, Church-going and His follower throughout life. If you personally do not have any of these qualities then you need to work on your life now, not later, to change your life toward Christ and His Church. Make sure that the only ones that you are following is Jesus, Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Catholic Church and not the lives of secular individuals who have no regard for God, Our Lord Jesus, Our Blessed Mother or the Church. We can never tell what events will happen in our lives and many will never get a chance to repent their lives because they waited too long to return to the Catholic Church or never got a chance to go to confession before they were taken from this earth. Don't let that be you! Every single Catholic needs to take responsibility for their sins now, go to confession immediately and need to start going to Church every week starting this week in addition to following Jesus and His teachings. Jesus said that the road that leads to destruction is wide and many go that way and narrow is the road that leads to Heaven and few go that way. Make sure that you and the people you know stay on the narrow road that leads to salvation as soon as possible. Don't lose out on your eternal reward. Don't let the devil and his temptations lead you to Hell. Get your life straight and don't wait. May God bless you and your loved ones as you continue to strive for Heaven in all that you do and say. |
