Please give us peace and abundance in our times, O Lord God, because there is none that fights for us, but only You, Our God.
V. Peace be within your walls.
R. And abundance within our towers.
Let us pray,
O God, from Whom all holy desires, all right counsels and all just works proceed, give to your servants and to the world that peace which the world cannot give. May our hearts be set to obey your commandments, that we, being delivered from the fear of our enemies, may pass our time on earth under your protection in blessed quietness and peace. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
