Prayer to Our Guardian Angel

O most faithful companion, appointed by our Heavenly Father to be my guardian, I thank you for your protection, kindness, caring and love, and for the benefits you have obtained for me throughout my life.  O holy Angel, always protect me throughout the day and night and while I sleep.  Comfort me when I am sad.  Always avert all dangers and evil that threaten me.  Protect and keep my and my family's homes free from danger and evil at all times.  Always turn me away from sin, and inspire me to do good.  Encourage me to do penance and reconcile me to God.  Do not leave me, heavenly guide.  Protect my heart, mind and body at all times.  Protect me in adversity, protect me in success, always protect me in danger, always protect me and always keep any and all evil far, far away from me, and always protect me from all temptations so that I do not fall.  Offer up in the sight of the Divine Majesty all my prayers and petitions, and all my charitable works and help me persevere in my faith and always keep me in grace and holiness until I enter into everlasting life.  Amen.
