The Song of Bernadette was made based on the apparitions of the Blessed Mother to Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes, France for 15 days from February 11, 1858.   Bernadette was born in 1844 and died in 1879.  She was canonized a saint in 1933 by Pope Pius XI.
