To Have A Mass Said For You or
For Someone You Know
If you would like to have a Mass said for yourself, for a family member, for a deceased person or for someone else you know at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy, please click on the link below. The suggested offering for each Mass is $10.00. The Gregorian Mass is a practice founded by Pope Gregory the Great that became a tradition in the Benedictine Monasteries: If 30 Gregorian Masses are offered on 30 consecutive days without interruption for a specific soul in Purgatory, it is believed that the soul will leave Purgatory and enter Heaven. These Masses may be offered only for the dead. It does not matter if they are low or high Masses.
If you would like to schedule 30 Gregorian Latin Masses to be said for a deceased loved one, the suggested offering is $300.00. You may also put it in your own will that upon your death, you would like 30 Gregorian Latin Masses to be said on your behalf.
